Sportsmetrics™ is an evidence-based program and must be completed 3 days per week for 6 weeks. Sportsmetrics™ provides a solid foundation of speed, agility, endurance and strength to not only improve sports performance, but also prevent injury. With each training session you will focus on correcting form, body mechanics and proper techniques associated with jumping, cutting, change of direction, and decelerating, which are all activities highly associated with ACL injuries.
Athletes who have participated in the camp have seen improvements in their overall conditioning, speed and vertical jumps. The benefits of the camp also carry over into their sports season. Athletes are in better shape going into their sports than most of their teammates, and they can apply techniques that they learned in Sportsmetrics™ directly into their sport.
7th-8th Grade Optimal Performance - Sportsmetrics™
- Testing and assessment dates are Tuesday, June 2nd @ 7:00am or Thursday, June 4th @ 7:00am (you only need to come for one of the testing dates).
- Sportsmetrics™ will start on June 8th at 8:00am and run through July 17th.
- Camp will be every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday @ 8:00am for the month of June, and every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday @ 8:00am for the month of July to accommodate summer volleyball and basketball league night games.
