Some important questions to ask before coming:
How long has the condition been around?
- If your condition is rather acute, chances are good that your primary care provider will be able to take care of the issue. However, if the issue is chronic, you should reach out to our specialists.
Have I tried other treatments?
- If you haven’t tried any prescription or over-the-counter treatment options, your primary care provider would be the best starting point to begin developing a treatment plan, some of which possibly will include an ENT specialist.
Will the condition require surgery or a procedure?
- If the condition requires surgery or a procedure, you will need to see an ENT surgeon. If the issue could be solved with medication, chances are that you should talk to your primary care provider first.
What type of hearing loss are you experiencing? Sudden and severe or slow and gradual?
- As we age, it is normal to see a gradual decrease in hearing. Faith Health’s audiologist should be your first stop for a hearing evaluation. If our audiologist determines it is necessary, he might refer you to our ENT team.
