Annual Wellness Visits

Why Are Annual Wellness Visits Important?
Annual wellness visits allow you and your primary care provider to develop or update your personalized care plan to make sure you stay healthy. Talking with your primary care provider regularly allows for you and them to get to know each other and for them to become familiar with your health.
Your visit may include:
- Routine physical measurements like height, weight, and blood pressure.
- A review of your current medical history, prescriptions, and any injuries or concerns you have.
- A screening schedule for any appropriate preventative screenings you may have coming up.
What Preventative Services Do I Need?
Because your primary care provider will stay the same throughout your life, unless you decide to switch providers, they are your best point of contact for preventative screenings, vaccinations, and checkups throughout all of life’s stages.
